Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) can be beneficial.
Technical Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Governance.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect).
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models and ensuring data quality.
- Ability to analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
Communication Skills:
- Good communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and create impactful presentations.
Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and frameworks.
Collaboration and Leadership:

💼How can you contribute to the team?
- Work actively with various business stakeholders to understand departmental needs and use data to solve these needs.
- Perform data investigation and analysis.
- Design data modeling processes, predictive models, and create algorithms using data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and artificial intelligence.
- Present results to stakeholders and adjust based on feedback.
- Implement and adhere to the client’s Responsible AI Framework throughout their work.
- Collect and analyze data to derive business insights.
- Transform data into suitable formats for analysis.
- Create new, enterprise frameworks to collect data.
- Build tools for automating data collection.
- Search through large datasets to extract valuable information.
- Generate reports and presentations for business use.
- Correlate similar data to identify actionable insights.
- Analyze large datasets to identify unusual patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activities.
- Amend and implement predictive models to forecast fraud risks and trends.
- Work with Data and Analytics Team and other departments to enhance fraud detection tool.
- Lead and drive weekly cadence meeting on progress of fine-tuning, amendment of existing detection tool or development of new data.
