Must have:

• 4+ years experience in a similar role
• Network fundamentals: DHCP, network trace capture (Wireshark), IPs, subnets, masks, gateway, proxy, Site-to-site VPNs, network file system management
• DNS management fundamentals, reverse DNS
•  Windows Server management: MS cluster, MS SQL server, add/remove server roles, regular maintenance tasks to avoid or fix performance issues (disk, memory, CPU)
•  Web server fundamentals: IIS, certificates (public, private…), CA
•  Domain controller administration fundamentals: creating a domain, requirements, joining a domain, user mgmt. via Active Directory Users and Computers …
•  Strong troubleshooting skills/logic to minimize service downtime
• Detailed technical documentation

Other highly valuable skills:

💼How can you contribute to the team?

Tasks:

• For every customer cloud server infrastructure:
• Test infrastructure configuration (Basic settings, DNS, Cluster, DB,…)
• Test VPN connection to on-prem test system as per connection details provided
• Installation of required applications
• Application configuration (service account password rotation, SMTP credentials configuration, creation of private certificates, configuration of certificates in server OS and applications, application configuration based on customer use case requirements, integration with on-prem test workstation and test printer).
•  Application testing as per defined test cases
• Create technical documentation
•  Support customer PoC's/Pilots
• Periodic application testing in Azure and AWS test environments
• Periodic rotation of application service account passwords
• Periodic application upgrades
• Periodic updates of SW asset inventory
•  Periodic updates to change management DB
•  Post-patching system health checks for both periodical and ad-hoc/zero-day patching
•  Configuration and testing of cloud environments for client’s internal technical training, including the creation of the training guide/documentation
