We are seeking a Data Migration Specialist / Functional Business Analyst to lead the migration of HR data from legacy systems to a new Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This dual-role professional will ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle and support the successful implementation of the HCM solution through functional business analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in both data management and HR process analysis. 

• Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in HR or HCM systems.
• Solid understanding of data management, transformation, and ETL tools.
• Strong background in HR business processes and systems (e.g., payroll, employee records, benefits).
• Proficient in functional business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and system configuration.
• Hands-on experience with HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

💼How can you contribute to the team?  

Data Migration:

• Plan, execute, and validate the migration of HR data from legacy systems to the new HCM platform.
• Analyze, cleanse, and prepare data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Develop and run data migration scripts and ETL tools.
• Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or migration-related issues.
• Document migration processes, mappings, and transformation rules.
• Perform thorough reconciliation and post-migration validation checks.

Functional Business Analysis:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for HR processes and systems.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications aligned with HCM capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business workflows and data needs.
• Configure, test, and validate HCM functionalities to ensure they meet business expectations.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases for UAT and implementation phases.
• Provide hands-on functional support to end-users during go-live and stabilization.
• Liaise with HCM vendors to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.
• Develop training materials and assist in user onboarding and training sessions.
