👋 What are our wishes?

• Proven ability to perform as an experienced test resource who can work independently as well as with large cross-functional teams, support the client to drive quality outcomes end-to-end, and influence cross-functional teams to address quality risks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology/Management or equivalent. An undergraduate major in Finance or Accountancy is an added advantage.

• At least 10 years of work experience as a Tester; work experience as a Test Automation resource is an advantage.

• Must possess strong business process appreciation skills and experience in preparation of test cases.

• Certification in automation testing and experience in automating test script execution, data validation, and data comparison are an advantage.

• Experience in testing front-end applications that use technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular

• Experience in testing back-end applications that use languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java

• Experience in using Azure DevOps (ADO) for documentation of test artifacts and other related artifacts and for defect management

• Must possess a solid understanding of ISTQB and BCS Test Body of Knowledge (TBOK) preferably with ISEB/BCS-CTFL certification.

• Must possess a good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

• Must have a good understanding of database design (relational, object-oriented, OLAP cubes), and able to write basic to intermediate queries

• Experience in Financial Services and Banking domain is an advantage.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and technical documentation skills in English

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment

💼 How can you contribute to the team?

While working on the Trade, Supply Chain, and Microfinance (TSCMF) product delivery, the Sr. SQA resource will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Review the project’s document artifacts, e.g., high-level solution design (HLSD), functional specifications document (FSD), technical design document (TDD), etc. for the purpose of preparing test artifacts. Escalate to the SQA Test Lead and Product Delivery Manager any issues found within the said artifacts.

• Prepare and maintain relevant deliverables and test artifacts, e.g., master test plan, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data, test results, test defects, test completion reports, traceability matrices, etc. (in Azure DevOps or ADO, where applicable) in conformance with client’s standards as documented in the Information Technology Department (ITD) Product Delivery Guide (PDG).

• Conduct/Automate data migration reconciliation/validation and comparison using various tools.

• Prepare and maintain test data, including setting up of users, roles, and responsibilities for testing purposes.

• Conduct system test, integration test, and performance test and provide evidence of test steps followed and test results

• Support user acceptance test.

• Prepare test status reports and regularly report on the status of testing.

• Arrange for and conduct knowledge transfer to other SQA test resources as necessary.

Key Deliverables / Outputs

• Reviewed test execution evidence and test reports from the delivery vendor

• Final test report covering progress, risks, issues, blockers, and recommendations submitted to PDM and other stakeholders (such as CAB).

• Test scenarios and test cases for functional testing, systems integration testing and UAT.

• Quality dashboards and decision-oriented reporting in Azure DevOps (e.g., coverage, defect trends, leakage, automation reliability, and risk register / RAID items as applicable)

• CI/CD test integration and quality gate configuration (where applicable), plus final Test Completion / Release Readiness Report with explicit go/no-go recommendation and unresolved risks

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid, to report onsite as needed. If the TSCMF SQA Lead, Product Team, or PDM requires the Sr. SQA to report to HQ, compliance is mandatory.

• Work Schedule is from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Manila Time.

• May be required to support critical release windows.
